This week's theme for the Friday Photo Shoot Out is METAL. I haven't taken pictures in a week or so now with the moving and all, so these are pictures that I took earlier in the year. This is just a wine rack that looked cool to shoot. Hope you enjoy!

My daughter is 14 now and loves modeling and cheerleading!

I hope we can keep up with it once we move. We'll have to see how things go.

I didn't take these picures, but I thought since I hadn't put them on my blog, now would be a great time.

To my FPSO gang... I will be making a move from Hawaii to Virginia in the next couple of weeks so I don't know how much I will participate in FPSOs. I will post whenever I can, so please keep my on your lists and I will back into Fridays very soon!

Friday Photo Shoot Out- Water- in Kapolei, Hawaii

This week's theme is Water. I thought I would have to go out to get it, but it actually came to me this time! It RAINED in Kapolei, Hawaii! YAY! Don't forget to click on the pictures to enlarge!

Since we moved here, we all take our shoes off outside. Everyone does this here and on the occasion that it rains all of our "slippers" get wet! We don't really mind though because we're just happy it rained!

The rain in Kapolei is very rare. When it does rain, it makes us feel like it's a different season. Hawaii has one season, Summer. It rains a lot on the other side but here, it is pretty much the desert! I took the rain pictures this morning.

This is a different kind of water! We spent the night at Bellows Air Force Base to capture some pictures of the sunrise and I also took these ...

This is a picture of a submarine in the water. I took this during my husband's homecoming from a deployment.

I'm getting ready to go on a dependant's cruise on my husband's submarine! I will make sure I take lots of pictures and post those in a few weeks. Thanks for stopping here to see my photos!

Friday Photo Shoot Out- The Bus

In the town of Kapolei, Hawaii, we would use The Bus to get around if we didn't drive our cars. I've actually only been on a bus once in my life. We took a bus to a local shopping center. It was fun. I couldn't imagine doing it everyday here in Hawaii though. Traffic is so horrible it seems to add to your commute time to plan your stops and everything. It is possible- but I still like my car:)

Not many pictures this Friday- I made a quick trip down the road to get a few:)

This is a bus interchange that's about 1 mile from my house.

Can you see The Bus???? haha This is a bus we passed on the H-1. I thought it came out crazy and weird so I added it. I'm posting early so that I can just look at everyone's photos in the morning instead of trying to play catch up. Everyone seems to have already posted by the time we're all waking up in Hawaii... We are 6 hours behind the E. Coast right now. Looking forward to seeing everyone's photos!

Friday Photo Shoot Out- Gardens

In Hawaii, you can drive 5 miles and it feels like you've entered a new country! The scenery changes so much here. I happen to live in the side of the island that mostly looks like the desert! So I decided to visit a botanical garden.

I visited Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden in Kaneohe.

This week, I had to cheat! I am not always clear about the theme of the week... Not sure where to find that each week. So, these are old pictures that I took a few months ago in San Francisco! I would have LOVED to shoot all week for this theme though! Some of these pictures are my FAVS!!! Enjoy!
