Shopping Day- Score!

I went shopping today to buy a new bag! I've been wanting a Coach bag... shame on me! The last time I bought a Coach bag I loved it, but then I thought it was dumb to pay so much for a bag.

Well... I've had the fever for about a month- I've saved my money up (we give ourselves an allowance) and I got it! It's beautiful! I love the purple inside and the silver hardware! I think I'll be able to use it for a while. The last one I got was so seasonal that it just didn't work for an "all the time" purse! Hopefully I won't have buyer's remorse in the morning!

We just got back from shopping and we're getting ready to watch Australia! I think I'll fall asleep - like always!

Preperations for Sub Ball

Now that the kids are off to school, I'm finishing my frap from The Bean, and have cleaned up after the morning rush, I can breath easy and make a list of to-dos.

• Buy shoes for the ball



• Make a hair appointment to have my hair done



• go tanning



• try on dress and see what jewelry will suffice



• get laundry done for the weekend at the Hilton (YES!)



• start packing and making a list of things we cannot forget (to make a list on my list? oh Lord!)



• Get groceries- things to also bring to the hotel; Drinks, snacks, etc.



• Make individual lists for the kids (here I go again)



• Remind Daniel to pick up medals and uniform from cleaners or do it myself



• Follow up with Susan Page modeling on photo shoot card -Thursday might work!



• make plans for "Friday Shoot-Out photos- Theme: Native Foods (this will be a fun one here in Hawaii!) I will definitely have to get the lumpia stand at K-Mart and the strip in Pearl City that looks like little China!


• Cancel my Sprint account


• Cancel Rhapsody


• Gather entertainment for the kids for when we're at the Navy Submarine Birthday Ball (how fun, I can't wait!)


• Leave out all the chores that aren't fun because it doesn't look appealing to anyone, Kelly. :)

It's been a while since I've posted anything... so to catch up...

We still have no word on orders. I think the detailer has put us on the back burner for a bit. That's okay though. I have a feeling our choices will be fine and we'll get something great!

We spent the Easter weekend with friends, Paul and Angela. Of course I got to get some pictures of Donte'! He is starting to warm up to me a little more and I think that's great! Maybe no more jokes about how he hates me. He sort of screams at the sight of me usually... so I'm thinking a gentle whine or cry is a step in the right direction. :)

I got an iPhone and I think it's the most amazing device ever created! I have never felt like this about a little gadget before, but this device makes me feel like "Apple gets me". It is so simple and easy to navigate. They had me in mind, I promise, when they made it! I am working on a blog app so that I can blog from my phone as well. Apple iPhone gets ***** and 4 thumbs up!

That's really about all that's happened other than the fact I have been sick! This sickness has been my enemy for almost 2 weeks now! I'm beginning to think that I will never hear properly again. I never know if I'm talking too loud and I can't hear what people say! It's not good! hahaha.

I'm so bored ... Help!

I got a phone call today that made me really happy! It was about Daniel coming home! I can't believe it's been so long! We have a little paper with submarines on it and we take one off every night. It seems so strange that soon Daniel will be in this house with us! I can't wait!
Today was a pretty relaxed day. We've been hangin' out at home watching America's Next Top Model. I've never really watched it, but I love it now. I have way to many tv shows to keep up with now. I think I need to start school again! I've been really bored all day. I think it's because I'm ready for Daniel to come home and nothing is happening!

Simply Organized

I got an email from Daniel today. I emailed him a few days ago and told him that I was going crazy and wanted him to keep emailing me until he gets home. Hopefully we are able to do that. It helps!

Not much going on today. I'm trying to organize my picures and scan them into my computer. I decided to start some kind of system because of all the pictures I've been taking. So I went to our new Simply Organized store and got some really cool organizing bins. I just told everybody that they didn't really have much, but they did have exactly what I needed. So I will retract the info about that :) I now think that the store rocks! You just can't go in there and randomly look for something. You have to have a project in mind and then go look! I got these containers that are like wallets that all line up in one bin to store photos! I love it! I'm having so much fun doing it. That sounds funny, but I really love to organize things! It really does make me feel better. Not all things are organized, but when they are, I LOVE it!

Did you Know?

Have you ever seen a real bird of paradise? I was completely engrossed in the Discovery Channel- Planet Earth today and saw these birds! I live in Hawaii and I see the flower all the time and while it is beautiful, it's nothing compared to these birds! Youtube has some videos of the show. I didn't want to post the video because it takes too long and I'm tired. ;) What have I become? Now I'm cyber-bird-watching!


I really love Grey's Anatomy! It's one of my favorite shows! I love all of the cast members! So... last night I was trying to find something to watch on tv. It was really late I couldn't sleep- one of many nights like this since Daniel has been gone. When I came across a great movie that I hadn't seen in a long time. As I'm watching this movie, this guy really reminds me of someone and I can't quite place him. Finally! I realize this is Karev from Grey's. I cannot help but crack UP! He is MAXIMO on The Wedding Planner! I was laughing histerically! If you remember Maximo- he's the guy with the HORRIBLE Italian accent! hahaha! There he is getting married to Jennifer Lopez! Go Karev! I thought this picture would remind you of the sexy, Italian, wierd, stalker- Maximo (pronounced Mogz i mo)! HA!

I went to Lani Kai this afternoon to celebrate my one week anniversary with my new stud muffin, Donte Kali'i Costanzo! One week today was when we met for the first time! haha.

I'm so sorry I don't have pictures of this, but Ally was holding Donte and then she wanted up. So she passed him off to me and as I was sitting with him, I realized that he had a little "poo" on his leg. Then I realized it was coming out of his diaper. So I got up to change him and told Ally she should look at her.. SHIRT - OOPS there was "poo" on it. So as I'm changing Donte he decides he's not finished! Then he chooses (yes, chooses he knows!) to "shi shi" (tinkle) while I'm changing him. So Angela and I get him all cleaned up finally. Then I look down and he now has his feet in his old diaper. Yeah, during all the craziness, I forgot to remove the old diaper! Good thing his cord fell off today. He's getting a good bath tonight!

Snow Moon

Tonight was also the biggest moon of the year. It's called Snow Moon or Old Moon. It was a bit cloudy, but we were able to see it.

NETFLIX

Today I started a free trial of the Netflix instant movie thing! But after I did all the downloads and everything, the streaming video wasn't so great. I've read that if I plug my X box straight into the modem instead of it being wireless it will be better. So, we'll see if I ever make that happen. I'm not so techy. The idea of it all is great though! If I can ever get it to all work right, I know I will love it.
All you have to do is go on the computer and choose the movies that you want. Then go to the XBox Video menu and your movie is there. Ally and I were trying to watch the very first season of 90210! Yes- they also have many tv episodes as well! The show just kept STOPPING and I really don't like that! Ally is practicing for a Christmas thing at the church and I have to get her soon so... that's all I got!

Corkscrew anyone?

Thoughts for the day... things always work out even after you've played out the outcome a million times! What you get will be nothing like what you thought, and what you get is usually better than you could've hoped for.

Today was a very productive day! I had to take my POA to PSD to get a copy of Daniel's orders and page 2. I then took that to the housing office so that we can be put on the housing list! We are officially on the housing list! We are not officially staying, but he can extend until September and we can see how things are going with schools, housing, etc. Then we can find out if we want to stay or not. I think that will work! I just hope Daniel can extend that long.

So after I got home, Mason was coming home from school and had his little friend Garrett at the door AGAIN! He's not supposed to bring kids over after school and he has been getting into trouble for this every school day for over a week. Then it's a big fight and he's upset and his homework time is completely ruined. He had chores to do and was really upset that he had to do them today. But after he got started, he was fine. This is Mason doing his laundry!

I decided to cook dinner and wear my new Santa Apron. It's so cute!

And then I decided to be all Brea Vandecamp and have a glass of wine. So I got out a bottle of wine and could not find a corkscrew!

So...hahahaha- I used a pumpkin carving knife and that did nothing but sink the cork. Wine squirted all over the place AND the cork came BACK up! So I tried again more gently to sink the cork and it worked.

If you look closely at the apron you can see where it's wet!

So now, I am having my wine with little bits of cork here and there! Now, is that Brea Vandecamp (Desperate Houswives)? Better luck next time I suppose.
